The General Hospital recap for Friday, January 11 features Ava trying to do something crazy and Ryan suggesting they do something crazier.
Ava (Maura West) made her way down to the docks with a pistol in hand, ready to use herself as bait to lure out Kiki’s killer.
She nearly killed Franco (Roger Howarth) when he showed up behind her and told her she was crazy. When Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) showed up, he asked Ryan to tell her she’s crazy, but the crazy one wouldn’t say it.
Instead, he told Franco he could no longer be his doctor. Franco freaked out at this idea and broke into Kevin’s office to get his medical records. What else might he find while he’s there?
Meanwhile, Ryan told Ava how much he understood her motives. Then, he shocked her by suggesting they leave town for good.
Peter (Wes Ramsey) rushed Anna (Finola Hughes) to the hospital after she passed out in his arms and said she couldn’t see. After an angry and dejected Griffin (Matt Cohen) ran some tests, he determined her sight might never return.
Peter couldn’t wait to share this news with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), who was shocked. Little did he know that Liesl (Kathleen Gati) was busy visiting with Nina (Michelle Stafford) trying to convince her what a horrible idea it is to reunite with Valentin.
Before Anna was brought in, Griffin had a little pity party in the chapel and a quite religious Sonny (Maurice Benard) tried talking him down from the proverbial ledge. Sonny was there to light a candle for Oscar.
He was also there to offer smuggled drugs to Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim (Tamara Braun) to save Oscar (Garren Stitt) since that’s just a thing he does. They basically told him thanks, but no thanks, since nothing could save the poor boy now.
