The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, May 15 features a canvas full of frustrated characters. Sonny and Marcus were frustrated at their loved ones continued mental decline, Stella was frustrated with Jordan’s stubbornness, and Laura and Curtis were frustrated over the outcome of their investigation.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) was summoned to Mike’s (Max Gail) care home where his father happily announced that he plans to propose to Yvonne (Janet Hubert). Sonny became increasingly flustered when he realized that neither Mike nor Yvonne remember that a real marriage cannot take place because Yvonne is married.
Stella (Vernee Watson) arrived at the hospital with congratulations for Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) over her upcoming transplant but Finn (Michael Easton) had to tell her that Kevin is no longer a viable donor. Stella hit the roof when she learned that Jordan had yet to tell Curtis the bad news.
Marcus (Nigel Gibbs) brought flowers for Jordan’s gloomy hospital room and was next to Stella when Mike called her with news of his proposal plan.
They met Sonny at the home and after having his compassion appealed to Marcus tearfully agreed to let the proposal and “marriage” take place but he had to exit the room after a brief exchange with Yvonne proved she had no memory of him.
Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Mac (John J. York) returned to the Metro Court with the replica of Finn’s missing ring but Anna (Finola Hughes) walked in during their conversation about proposals and, mistakenly thought that the ring was Robert’s and intended for her.

She spun a story about not wanting to ever get married again. Robert returned the ring to Finn who immediately knew it was a fake.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) ran into Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) posting fliers in the park and accomplished step one of her and Jason’s new scheme by convincing Shiloh to accompany her to the Nurses Ball.
Curtis (Donnell L. Turner) was sure that Laura’s (Genie Francis) hunch that April Trembly was Ryan’s accomplice was correct — why would a Canadian have copies of the Port Charles newspaper?
April called them to come back to the house but when Laura and Curtis arrived they find her dead and are then ambushed by a shadowy figure!
