General Hospital Recap for April 14, 2021
 Comments

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, April 14, 2021, features Peter leaving Anna and Valentin horrified, Elijah raising Sonny’s suspicions, and everybody worrying about Chase.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Peter (Wes Ramsey) claims that he’s nothing like Faison, and yet he’s pulled a page right out of his book. In much the same way that his father poisoned Tiffany Donely in order to bring her husband to heel, Peter has ordered the poisoning of Anna’s (Finola Hughes) would-be groom, Finn (Michael Easton).

But, in a twist that no one, not even Peter, could see coming, it was Chase (Josh Swickard) who wound up ingesting the deadly dose. The ailing top cop was rushed to the E.R. by a concerned Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and Portia (Brook Kerr) immediately got to work on identifying what exactly had Chase so ill.

Finn (Michael Easton) arrived to consult, Jackie (Kim Delaney) stood around and wrung her hands, and Anna came to the conclusion that she and Valentin must free Peter so that he’d offer up the much-needed antidote.

But Peter wasn’t in a complying mood. His recent incarceration had rubbed him the wrong way, so he’s not inclined to save Chase’s life after all. That should teach his auntie not to mess with him!

Advice and Consent

While Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) made his support of Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) known to the woman in question, Ned (Wally Kurth) was busying himself with a grand gesture that he was sure would win his estranged spouse over.

Not so fast, warned Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Olivia’s not interested in theatrics or the giving of expensive gifts. She wants to be convinced that Ned can be trusted again.

Ruffled Feathers

“Mike” (Maurice Benard) may not have much of a memory, but he’s got a lot of opinions. Chief among them? Elijah Crowe (Dan White) is bad, bad news. Phyllis (Joyce Guy) approved of him so that was good enough for Nina (Cynthia Watros), who even bonds with him when he opens up about his past failings.

But “Mike” isn’t about to become chummy with the man whose generosity and joviality belie his ulterior motives. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
