The General Hospital recap for Thursday, April 4 features a somber day in Port Charles as Oscar took a drastic turn for the worse.
Joss (Eden McCoy) and Oscar (Garren Stitt) were dancing on the footbridge when he suddenly collapsed. This didn’t look like his other seizures and Josslyn immediately called 911.
Oscar was in a coma when they arrived at the hospital and Terry had to tell his devastated parents he may not wake.
Carly (Laura Wright), who was at the hospital getting pregnancy advice from Epiphany (Sonya Eddy), told Joss that she needs to let Oscar’s family tell her what’s going on.
Julian (William deVry) paid a visit to Ava (Maura West) after Kim (Tamara Braun) told him she may move in with the Quartermaines for Oscar’s sake. This was before Kim learned about Oscar’s coma.
He found Ava a nervous wreck because she’d been dreaming about Ryan attacking her. She even managed to get a new security system installed late at night.

Julian agreed to move in with Ava to keep her company when Jordan stopped by to give her some news about Ryan.
Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura (Genie Francis) discussed why she posted his bail and she explained she didn’t want him locked in a jail cell after he was locked away in Ferncliff all those months.
When Lulu (Emme Rylan) arrived, she thought that Kevin was Ryan and tried to hurt him. When alone, she told Laura how she’s been working from home since her office reminds her of the stabbing. She also cried her eyes out over what happened with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).
When Kevin stopped by the hospital, he learned he was fired as Epiphany told him off and praised Kiki (Hayley Erin).
