The General Hospital recap for Monday, February 15, 2021, features Nina getting both welcome and crushing confirmation, Alexis letting herself down, and a cop on a mission.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Nina (Cynthia Watros) welcomed Phyllis (Joyce Guy) and shared with her all she had learned about the woman she believes to be her daughter, who just so happens to be dead and buried (we think) and unable to offer any assistance.
Phyllis was distraught over the part she played in her charge’s loss, but Nina revealed that Phyllis could actually be of some use. Can Phyllis identify the man that she handed baby girl Reeves over to? Why yes, she can. And yes, it was indeed Frank Benson – good thing Nelle kept a picture of her much-despised daddy!
Taking A Stab At It
Mourners Sam (Kelly Monaco), Molly (Haley Pullos), and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) arrived to collect Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), but she insisted they go to Sonny’s funeral without her. Kristina played the needy-daughter card, and Alexis relented. Later, she eavesdropped on the girls discussing her upcoming trial and the actions she would have to undertake if she had a snowball’s chance in hell of getting off.
The biggest takeaway? She’d have to stay sober as a judge. So, in response, Alexis took the first available opportunity to down a mini-bottle of vodka…and wound up caught by Molly!
I’ve Got A Feeling
Officer Finchley swung by The Tano- and accused “Mike” (Maurice Benard) of being the town’s new thief – something he and Lenny (Riff Hutton) strongly denied. After cursing himself for not having “Mike” fingerprinted before now, Finchley stealthy absconded with a coffee cup used by the mystery man.
Back in Port Charles, Nina and Phyllis discussed Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and his decision to withhold the fact that Nelle could have been her daughter…which, in turn, kept Nina from bonding with her grandson.
When the women both agreed that Jax had no malice in his heart and that he’d probably have come through in the end, Nina set off to find him. Her search led her to the chapel hosting Sonny’s memorial service…and that’s where she overheard Jax and Carly (Laura Wright) talking about the night Nelle died and how Carly was keeping the true circumstances secret!
