The General Hospital recap for Thursday, July 1, 2021, features Nikolas Cassadine counting on the old adage, “the best defense is a good offense,” and Josslyn Jacks finally acting like a decent human being.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
While Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) bemoaned the state of her marriage – and nursed a wicked hangover – hubby Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) revealed to stepfather Kevin Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) that he’s devised a plan to ensnare the stalker who’s been making his and Ava’s life a misery.
When his trap is activated, Nikolas heads off, alone (nixing Kevin’s offer to help), to confront the ski-masked baddie. But he may just as easily run into sweet, innocent Trina (Sydney Mikayla), who’s there searching for Ava in order to tell her it’s all right to give her epic rager a miss.
Jason Morgan: Otherwise Engaged
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) put in a call to would-be lover Jason (Steve Burton), and asked if he’d be interested in dining with her a few nights hence; he suggested that they meet ASAP.
Britt anticipated a night of unbridled passion – what she got was a man standing before her, revealing that he’s marrying another woman. Tears were shed, hurtful things were said, and Jason even managed to crack a sad face before being thrown out.

GH Recap: Party Hardy
At the Corinthos Compound, lady of the house, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) laid out quite the spread for her darling daughter; and everyone praised Josslyn (Eden McCoy) for being so wonderful. Later, Carly stunned the assemblage by announcing that she’s marrying Jason.
Over at Charlie’s, the extended Webber family – including Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) very special lady friend, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) – toasted Cameron (William Lipton).
Josslyn finally decided to darken the door and fully forgive Cameron (after Jason basically giving her permission to do so) for ever doubting the great and powerful and perfect Jason. All is now right with the world.
