The General Hospital recap for Monday, October 19, 2020, features Ned doubling down on his secret-keeping, Alexis continuing her downward spiral, Carly being subjected to a barrage of questions, and Michael and Willow coming to a decision regarding their marriage.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Ned (Wally Kurth) admitted his infidelity to Monica (Leslie Charleson) and insisted that he would not be coming clean to Olivia (Lisa LoCicero). Unbeknownst to the pair, Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) overheard their conversation.

And had Brook Lynn not been the one eavesdropping at the living room door, it’s quite possible that Olivia would have been the one to learn her husband’s cheated. Luckily for Ned, she merely caught a nosy BLQ and insisted on joining whomever the young woman was spying on.

During a subsequent (and private) father/daughter chat, Ned attempted to lay blame on Brook for his dumb move. After all, he (probably) wouldn’t have cheated had Brook Lynn not erased the voicemail that Olivia left him. Brook Lynn in turn advised her father to grow up and take responsibility for his actions.

Alexis Rapidly Approaches Rock Bottom

Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) pity party for one was rudely interrupted by Sam (Kelly Monaco) who attempted to stage an intervention for her mother right then and there. But Alexis had some pressing drinking to attend to. And she definitely wasn’t up for Sam’s condescending and hypocritical assistance.

Asked And Answered

Carly (Laura West) made her way to the police station and submitted to an interrogation by a very rude detective from Pennsylvania. Though she stuck to her previously-given statement, Carly did momentarily veer off-book and insist that she was glad that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was dead.

Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) was certain that her client’s little outburst hadn’t helped matters, but she was also pretty sure that they wouldn’t be hearing from the detective again. Jax (Ingo Rademacher), who was also subject to a secondary police interview, arrived just in time to give Carly a shoulder to cry on…and Nina (Cynthia Watros) spotted them.

Moving Forward

Should they or shouldn’t they take their fake marriage to the next level? That’s the question plaguing Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell). But after she shared drinks with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) at Charlie’s, and he punched Chase (Josh Swickard) in the face, both decided on the proper course of action.
