The General Hospital recap for Monday, August 5, 2019, features an attempted murder unmasked, a major decision being made, and an (apparently) dimension-hopping Sam.
Liesl (Katheleen Gati) cornered Brad (Parry Shen) at GH and forced him to confess that it was he who shoved her from the Haunted Star’s deck. Brad was sure they could let bygones be bygones. After all, they’re now even – least Liesl forget that she once gave brad a shove off a parapet at Wyndemere (it really is a right of passage in Port Charles you see).
Surprisingly, Liesl isn’t swayed by his argument. It’s not that she wants to maliciously hurt Brad (drowning attempt aside). It’s just that she’s starting to feel this new emotion called guilt and Liesl says she’s finding it harder and harder to keep Michael from his biological child.
Brad wonders if Liesl will keep the secret to protect her because if she breathes a word to Michael then Brad will ensure that Brit goes to prison for violating her parole (she’s in the know about the illegal switch-a-roo). Liesl is impressed by Brad’s fortitude and they shake on their new secret pack.
Kim (Tamara Braun) and Carly (Laura Wright) meet up in the park adjacent to GH and have a long overdue heart to heart. Carly (number 4) revealed to Kim (Carly number 2) that her baby will be born with spina bifida and Kim opened up about her struggle to accept Oscar’s passing.

Off that confab Kim revealed to Drew (Billy Miller) that she had decided to move away from Port Charles. The exchange is overheard by Julian (William deVry) who had tracked Kim down to discuss the possibility of purchasing the former Dawn of Day headquarters and transforming it into their forever home.
Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) sends Jason (Steve Burton) photos of a bound and gagged Sam (Kelly Monaco) to prove he is not bluffing when he says he has Ms. McCall in his clutches. Jason rushed over to the motel room to confront his wife’s kidnapper only to find that Shiloh has magically zapped her into a freezer sitting on the DOD lawn miles away from his current location.
After beating the hell out of Shiloh, Jason finally listens to the madman’s demand. Submit to Doctor Cabot’s memory mapping procedure and accept Drew’s memories or Shiloh will never reveal Sam’s location. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
