The General Hospital recap for Thursday, April 2, 2020, features Jordan giving Molly a few home truths, Mike’s mental health continuing to decline, Laura and Kevin conspiring to nip Cyrus in the bud, and Ava strengthening her bond with Trina.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

An exacerbated Molly (Haley Pullos) burst into Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) apartment and demanded to speak to TJ (Tajh Bellow). When she realized that she was being stonewalled, Molly threatened to launch her own public investigation into TJ’s whereabouts.

In response, Jordan launched into a stinging condemnation of the young woman. The phrase, “spoiled, entitled brat” was hurled about as was the advice that Molly should grow up and stop acting like a blameless child.

And even though Jordan hardly uttered one word of a lie – TJ did indeed offer his heart, and life, to Molly only to have her throw it back in his face – she still felt bad for coming down so hard.

Mike – A Heartbreaking Request

Over at GH, Mike (Max Gail) reacted poorly to seeing Brando (Johnny Wactor) and Carly (Laura Wright) whom he ordered Sonny (Maurice Benard) to keep away from him. Later, Mike recognized his son and wondered when he was going to be taken back to Bensonhurst.

Being Proactive

Upon learning that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) would most likely go free, a livid Laura (Genie Francis) promised Robert (Tristan Rogers) that she had a plan to keep the man behind bars.

However, when he learned that said plan involved Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) advocating the criminal be transferred to Ferncliff, Robert insisted that it would never work.

Girl Talk

A despondent Trina (Sydney Mikayla) arrived at Ava’s (Maura West) and tearfully pleaded for her boss’s help understanding the accusations being lobbied against her father.

After having the facts explained to her, Ava opined that Taggert (Real Andrews) wouldn’t have cared how anyone in the world viewed him and his actions – barring his daughter.

And since Trina truly believed that her father was innocent of the charges – or, at the very least, committed the crime for the greater good – then that was all that mattered.

The Potential For Trouble

After finally being told how selfish she truly was, a furious Molly damaged her car’s undercarriage and found her way to Brando’s garage. During the conversation that followed, Molly seemed completely taken with Port Charles’ newest transplant. TJ who? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
