The General Hospital recap for Thursday, May 16 features Sam working with Jason, who’s working with Spinelli to trap Shiloh. But, all their plans may be for nothing now that Molly has revealed her own plan for Dawn of Day.
Molly (Haley Pullos) and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) finally reconnected, with Molly letting her sister know how proud she was of her for leaving the cult. When Peter (Wes Ramsey) happened by, Molly got a great idea — she pitched him a story about exposing a cult right there in Port Charles.
Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton) welcomed Spinelli (does ever really leave?) back to the fold and he worked with Jason on a plan to bug the DoD house while Sam distracts Shiloh at the Nurses Ball. Later, Sam, who tried to avoid Kristina’s attempt to get in touch, couldn’t avoid Molly. She was shocked to hear of her sister’s newspaper plans.
Lulu (Emme Rylan) proved she’s Team Maxie (Kirsten Storms) as she listened to her friend talk about taking her relationship with Peter to the next level even as her own heart was breaking.
Carly (Laura Wright) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) her test was fine but she couldn’t go into detail because Mike (Max Gail) had proposed to Yvonne. Everyone wondered where Mike got the ring. When he revealed it was Brooklyn, they knew they were in trouble.

It turned out the ring was a special stone that reminds Finn (Michael Easton) of where he and Anna (Finola Hughes) began their love, and he refused to ask Anna to marry him without that ring.
Kim (Tamara Braun) and Drew (Billy Miller) continued to mourn Oscar (Garren Stitt) but decided they will honor him by scattering his ashes at the summit at Mount Kilimanjaro since Oscar was never able to climb it.
