The General Hospital recap for Monday, January 11, 2021, features Sonny getting a nudge from the spirit world, T.J. and Molly reckoning with the past, and Tracy nearly inserting her foot into her mouth.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
An unconscious Sonny (Maurice Benard) was roused by a concerned Mike (Max Gail) who warned his son that he had two options: lay back down and die or find the strength within to get up and start moving.
Sonny chose the latter, and, with his job on Earth completed, Mike returned to the spirit world. Seconds later, a passerby chanced upon Sonny and attempted to learn exactly what he was doing out in the cold. But the disoriented don didn’t have an answer for his probable savior.
Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, Carly (Laura Wright) opened the mansion doors and ushered in friends and family who had come to pay their respects for her “loss.” The assemblage, which included a devastated Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and a visiting Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), imbibed Sonny’s favorite Scotch and reminisced about the great man that was no longer with them – in person at least.

The Trouble With Young Love
T.J. (Tajh Bellow) and Molly’s (Haley Pullos) awkward morning took a turn for the romantic when they declared their undying love for the other…and decided to just ignore Molly’s little spat of infidelity. It was mostly Jordan’s (Briana Nicole Henry) fault anyway.
After some sexy shower time with his lady, T.J. set off for the hospital, ran into Brando (Johnny Wactor), and punched him square in the face. Looks like T.J. blames Brando for the affair as well. Molly’s still off the hook though.
Mama Bear
After coming a hair’s breadth from accidentally landing Ned (Wally Kurth) in the dog house herself, Tracy (Jane Elliot) assured her son that he didn’t have anything to worry about where Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is concerned. In a few day’s time, she’ll be comfortably ensconced in a rehab center…or rotting away in prison.
Either way, she won’t be blabbing about her and Ned’s one-night stand. Boy, the lengths a mother will go to protect her child’s marriage! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
