The General Hospital recap for Monday, January 25, 2021, features Michael and Willow making their split official, Jax and Nina getting hip to Valentin’s manipulation, ‘Mike’ making a run for it, Carly caught in the act, and Jackie having a lucky day.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

With the annulment papers ready to be signed, Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) each took a private moment and reflected on what the marriage had meant to them. And despite both of them deciding that it had been a positive experience, they still added their signatures to the documents.

Drop The Bomb

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) darkened Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) door and intimated that he assisted Jason (Steve Burton) and/or Carly (Laura Wright) in the abduction of Florence Grey. Jax denied the charges, and Nina (Cynthia Watros) stood by her man.

Once Valentin left, Jax readied himself to go and speak to Carly, but Nina talked him out of it. First, by rightfully pointing out that Valentin was hoping this incident would cause a rift in her and Jax’s romance. Then, by insisting that Jax issuing a cease and desist order would only spur Carly and Jason on further.

Missing In Action

After overhearing Phyllis and Lenny (Rif Hutton) discussing the possibility that he might be mentally ill and in need of medication, Sonny (Maurice Benard), AKA Mike, made a run for it. A distraught Phyllis looked high and low for him, but her effort was for naught.

We Can Work It Out

Carly and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) arrived at Wyndemere ostensibly to arrange visitation with Avery. However, Carly had another goal in mind – exchange Avery’s “good luck charm” with a near-identical piece…but a piece that wouldn’t complete Nina’s half. Carly managed to locate the necklace, but she was interrupted before she could make the switch!

In Great Demand

No sooner had Jackie (Kim Delaney) sat down to lunch with Chase (Josh Swickard) than she was inundated with pleas for assistance. Martin (Michael E. Knight) wanted her to write a piece on his and Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) missing mother. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) wanted Jackie to tell the world about Sasha’s struggle with addiction.

Both stories intrigued Jackie, and she seemed inclined to take on the latter. However, she warned both women of the unintended consequences stemming from telling the truth. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
