The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, August 28 features a mystery solved as we discover which brother was locked away in Ferncliff, Ryan or Kevin.
Kevin And Ryan Make A Switch
Well, it’s Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) for the win. The criminally insane man was locked away in a facility for the criminally insane. It turned out that Kevin learned his brother was alive after all these years and placed him in Ferncliff in the hopes he can be rehabilitated.
And it also turned out Kevin was wrong. Ryan managed to get the orderly to loosen his straight jacket, then he broke free, knocked out Kevin, and escaped.
While this was going on, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) remembered all Ryan did to her and her family 25 years ago. It seems The Invader is going to run a true crime story on the tale and Lulu (Emme Rylan) wanted to warn Felicia.
Does this mean Felicia is going to get her own storyline now that Ryan is on the loose in Port Charles? We can only hope since the rigged mayoral election and special election didn’t pan out for her.
The Corinthos clan did their own thing today as Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) looked at assisted living facilities for Mike (Max Gail) while Michael (Chad Duell) learned that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is trying to manipulate Kim into testifying on her behalf.
Back at the house, Oscar (Garren Stitt) paid a visit and Jason (Steve Burton) hung out to talk with him. (If you think about it, Oscar could even resemble Jason considering Drew looked like Jason when he was with Kim, but we digress.)
When Jason offered Oscar a ride to the park on his motorcycle, Oscar suddenly couldn’t breathe and seemed to be having a seizure.
Julian The Thug
Brad (Parry Shen) and Julian (William deVry) discussed the adoption hearing and Julian told Brad he spoke to the birth mother.
When Diane (Carolyn Hennessy) showed up for the hearing, it looked like she was alone and we’re left to assume Julian scared the birth mother enough for her to let the case go.
Finally, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) discussed finding Nina’s daughter and Nina (Michelle Stafford) was shocked to see her soon-to-be ex-husband had hired one of her best friends.
