The General Hospital recap for Monday, January 21 features Lulu hanging on to her life by a thread as her mom begs her to wake up.
Lulu (Emme Rylan) was totally creeped out by ‘Kevin’ and realized something was wrong. As he continued talking, she got more frightened. Then, Ryan tried to clue her in but she still wasn’t getting the fact that he’s Ryan, so he pulled a knife and stabbed her. As he cleaned his knife, he was shocked when she managed to stand up.
Ryan walked towards her but was struck by horrible head pain and suddenly collapsed. Lulu managed to get away and stumbled into the book-signing and fell into Laura’s (Genie Francis) arms. Lucas and Michael sprang into action.
At the hospital, Lulu was prepped for surgery as Laura anxiously waited. Thankfully, she had Sonny and Carly by her side.
A now-blinded Ryan headed for the elevator. He found his way to Ava (Maura West) and Carly (Laura Wright). At the hospital, Ryan asked Ava to get an update on Lulu. She told him that Lulu may not make it through the night. In a strange move, Ava took his shoes to exchange them for slippers.
Meanwhile, Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) searched Lulu’s office and found the weapon and a bloody footprint.
Earlier, Michael (Chad Duell) told Lucas (Ryan Carnes) he started a college fund for Wiley.

Chase (Josh Swickard) brought Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to his home, and Willow kissed Chase. She knew he’d seen her pamphlet about grieving parents and admitted she gave her baby up for adoption.
Kim (Tamara Braun) leaned on Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) because she was worried that Oscar hadn’t checked in. Kim later saw Carly at the hospital and asked if she’d heard from Joss.
Joss (Eden McCoy) and Oscar (Garren Stitt) went exploring, trying to find their way into the catacombs. She felt bad she couldn’t find them but Oscar still had fun. However, that didn’t last long because he collapsed.
Anna (Finola Hughes) was in the clear to go home, but Finn (Michael Easton) wanted to know how she got the virus. When they heard ‘Kevin’ lost his sight just like she did, she and Finn head to speak to him.
