The General Hospital recap for Monday, April 22 features a heartbreaking family intervention — and Ava cooking up a new scheme.
At the hospital, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) ran into Molly (Haley Pullos) and admitted she had not been upfront about Kristina’s (Lexi Ainsworth) situation. Without revealing any details Alexis assured her youngest that Kristina was somewhere safe and working on her problems.
Alexis later joined Sonny (Maurice Benard), Michael (Chad Duell) and Neil (Joe Flanigan) at the cabin for Kristina’s intervention. Opening up, Kristina revealed that she feels disconnected from her parents and told them she feels like they would love her more if she was different and had not made the mistakes that she had in the past.
She said that she joined Dawn of Day (DOD) because she felt alone and lonely. Later, Michael tried to get through to her by pointing out that she was too smart to fall for Shiloh’s lies.
At Sonny’s gym, Shilo (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) got under Jasons (Steve Burton) skin by wondering if Danny would turn out emotionally stunted like his father. Later, Jason told Carly that Brick was able to prove that the DOD ceremonial cup had traces of a narcotic.
At the DOD house, Sam (Kelly Monaco) tried to get to Kristina’s pledge folder but Shiloh returned. She lied and told him that she was there to take the next step in the DOD process.

The package delivered to Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) was sent by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and inside was his brother’s severed hand.
Laura (Genie Francis) asked Kevin to come home but he was unsure. He told Laura that he has been seeing a therapist to work on his arrogance and God complex.
Ava (Maura West) gave Scotty (Kin Shriner) the same proposition she offered Franco but he also turned her down. He told her he was afraid of playing her boyfriend would lead him to take advantage of her.
At the Metro Court, Kevin filled Ava in on the package and she began to formulate a new plan. She told Kevin they were going to use Ryan’s hand to bury him.
