The General Hospital recap for Friday, November 2 features a story that can now bring Ava and Carly closer together. Just what we always wanted.

Carly (Laura Wright) found Mary Pat’s head and Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) left the rest of Mary Pat for Ava (Maura West) to find in her gallery — with a pumpkin head attached.

Nina (Michelle Stafford) happened upon the scene at the gallery because she wanted to tell Ava to stay away from her daughter. When the cops were called, Chase (Josh Swickard) found some blonde hair in Mary Pat’s hands.

Of course, Ryan had the perfect plan in his mind. He’d pin it all on Carly, explaining how Carly hated Mary Pat. So, he told the cops everything Carly said to the nurse the other day at Ferncliff.

Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) figured, well, if Carly didn’t do it – and she admitted all she said but denied killing the woman – then maybe Sonny (Maurice Benard) did. Oh sure.

Meanwhile, Ryan returned the murder weapon to the pier just as Laura (Genie Francis) happened upon him. She again asked what the heck was going on and Ryan stunned her by asking to separate. He then left a crying Laura on the pier.

Over at Wyndemere, Nina (Michelle Stafford) woke on the couch and made her way back to the mainland on the launch. That’s when Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told her all about meeting Ava. And, when Sasha decided to go to Wyndemere herself.

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) told her nothing really happened between him and Nina and then suggested it might be a good time for her to leave town. Sasha decided she’d stay – and also assured Valentin nobody will find out she’s not really Nina’s daughter. Shocker, there.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
