The General Hospital recap (GH) for Thursday, May 17 features a night of romance at the annual Nurses’ Ball–and so much more.
Music, Love, and Heartache
The musical numbers got started with the nurses, of course. After they performed their opener, Chase (Josh Swickard) was forced to perform all by his lonesome and figured out that Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) set him up for that.
However, this year’s magic act ended with a little more joy and a little less drama than last year’s. Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Nina (Michelle Stafford) put on a show and Curtis needed an assistant.
Of course, that assistant was Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) who was in for a surprise when Curtis presented a ring and proposed. Curtis seemed equally surprised when Jordan said yes. Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) was horrified.
Meanwhile, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) thought her romance with Finn (Michael Easton) was going well until she overheard him tell Anna (Finola Hughes) that he never stopped caring for her. Anna was torn over what to do because she was supposed to meet Henrik, aka, Peter.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) couldn’t wait to get Nina off that stage and out of town because Peter is going rogue. Peter (Wes Ramsey) is also falling hard for Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and that’s clear as day any time he’s near her.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) snuck away from the ball just after hearing Peter tell Nina she shouldn’t smoke. He declared nobody smokes anymore and that stuck in Sam’s mind as she rifled through his office and found Faison’s cigarette lighter.
The initials “CF” were a dead giveaway and a bell went off in Sam’s head. Yep, Peter August is Henrik, the man who kept Jason (Steve Burton) from her for five years and has Drew’s (Billy Miller) memories on a flash drive.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
