The General Hospital recap (GH) for Friday, March 30 features a night of celebration in Port Charles as the town came together to share a blast from the past and give something special to Mike.
Luke’s Place Revisited
Mike (Max Gail) was shocked to see his family dressed in their formal best ready to go out for a surprise. That surprise was a recreation of Luke’s Place at the Metro Court. Apparently, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) suggested they do this to bring other memories to the surface.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) was thrilled to give his father a chance to tend bar and live life the way he used to and your Port Charles pals were happy to do this for him.
They didn’t remind him that he knew them or that time had passed. They just let him enjoy his night, with a little performance from Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth).
Sweet Memories
Kevin and Mac (John J. York) reminisced about that time they dressed as Norma and Eve, while Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) remembered her first day in town with her brother, Luke (Tony Geary). She also managed to get Maxie (Kirsten Storms) to dress up and leave her apartment.

A series of flashbacks warmed our hearts, as Anna (Finola Hughes) remembered being with young Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and we saw the first scene the show ever aired with Tom and Audrey Hardy the day they met.
We found ourselves with tears in our eyes as Bobbie reminded Maxie that BJ lives in her. Later, she and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) remembered the day BJ died.
Monica (Leslie Charleson) and Jason (Steve Burton) also shared a tender moment when she remembered him saving her from a crisis and he told her he loves her because she’s his mom.
Moving Forward
Finally, Luke’s Place closed up shop and everyone went home, while Sonny took one last look around and pointed towards the future.
