The General Hospital recap (GH) for Tuesday, July 31st features a depraved Nelle feeling no attachment to a baby she just gave birth to… and giving away that baby so she could break Michael’s heart.
Brad (Parry Shen) was unable to revive baby Wiley and headed to the hospital with the newborn’s lifeless body only to run into Nelle (Chloe Lanier) casually walking the road with her own baby five minutes after giving birth.
Nelle pretended she only lied to Michael (Chad Duell) about all the things she did just to keep him calm so they wouldn’t crash. Then, she had a genius idea when she saw the poor dead baby in the car.
Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad could have her baby. Brad was stunned, but figured, sure, and later presented Nelle’s baby to Lucas as the son they adopted.
Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) got Michael out of the car before it exploded and he ended up at the hospital. He saw Nelle sitting in a wheelchair in the hall and asked to hold his baby. He then realized “his” baby died.
At the safe house, Jason (Steve Burton) told Carly (Laura Wright) all about Michael’s plan and she didn’t like it one bit. But, Sonny soon arrived and assured her Michael was ok.

While Jason did his thing, the brother who has his memories did his over a few beers with Curtis (Donnell Turner).
Drew (Billy Miller) has chalked the flash drive up to being missing forever, but Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was fascinated by his story and made sure to tell him so.
As she did some research, she wondered what Drew might know to bring Sonny down. One track mind there.
Finn was surprised when Robert (Tristan Rogers) told him Anna (Finola Hughes) was missing and all those texts came from her captor. Then, they headed out of town together to find the woman who somehow goes missing every summer.
