General Hospital Recap (GH): Nelle’s Depravity Knows No Bounds

The General Hospital recap (GH) for Thursday, August 2 features Nelle laying it on thick while once again not caring who she hurts.

Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was quick to blame a grieving Michael (Chad Duell) for the “death” of their son when she knows full well that their son is alive and well with Lucas and Brad.

Michael could barely believe she’d say those things and had a hard time even accepting the baby’s death. He eventually ended up in the hospital chapel with Sonny comforting him.

Most of Port Charles was shocked to learn about Nelle’s baby and Ava (Maura West) went flying to the hospital. Kiki (Hayley Erin) thought this was a little weird, but all Nelle and Ava cared about was that blanket – never mind any dead newborns.

Over at the safe house, Jason (Steve Burton) brought Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to see Carly (Laura Wright) and had to listen to the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but about her good friend, Nelle.

Carly and Jason also decided they’d have to run off to Canada and Jason called Sam for help.

Sam (Kelly Monaco) was just visiting with Lucas (Ryan Carnes), Brad (Parry Shen), and baby “Wiley” and could feel something very strange was going on. But, she couldn’t put her finger on it.

By the time she was with Jason, she wasn’t going to have him leave town for three months so she was very anxious to hear about the illegal electroshock therapy.

Lucas could barely believe he was a father and Brad continued acting weird. Of course, who could blame him?

And, speaking of blame, Chase (Josh Swickard) was taking all of that for what happened to Nelle and the baby (or what he thinks happened) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) didn’t even want to hear it. (But, she did.)

Soap Hub also wants to add that Chloe Lanier plays unmitigated sociopath so astonishingly well, and yes, we’re going to really and truly miss her.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
