The General Hospital recap (GH) for Tuesday, August 29 features Sam watching her worst fears come true right before her eyes.
Bloodbath
Sam (Kelly Monaco) had just told Jason that a part of her died five years ago when he walked out of their bedroom, was shot on the pier, and disappeared.
Jason (Billy Miller) promised she’d never have to go through that again–but alas, that promise lasted about three commercial breaks, if that.
Of course, Jason was shot once again trying to protect Sonny (Maurice Benard), just as Sam’s subconscious believed all that time.
However, unlike the last time Jason was shot and disappeared, Sam witnessed it happen with Sonny also right there, so at least he won’t vanish like he did five years ago.

Uh-Oh, Nelle’s In Trouble Again
Meanwhile, murder was apparently a running theme through Port Charles as Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was somehow involved in a mystery murder. This was after Bobbie told Felicia she didn’t want any more info because Carly told Bobbie to drop the whole thing.
Carly (Laura Wright) seemed to have these feelings after Michael (Chad Duell) texted her a picture of him and Nelle showing her how much fun they were having in Morocco. But, Nelle didn’t seem to like Michael taking selfies and admitted she doesn’t like social media. Gee, we wonder why, Nelle.
Thanksgiving Already?
GH also provided some comic relief with Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) because Olivia will never get it through her head that she just has to let Cook cook and be done with it. Instead, she ordered a pizza oven and Ned had to explain all the reasons why pizza was just a bad idea for the Q’s.
