The General Hospital recap (GH) for Monday, May 7 features Jason paying a visit to his son on his birthday and Jake warming up to the idea.
A Jason And Jake Reunion
Jason (Steve Burton) might have missed all of Jake’s other birthdays considering before either was presumed dead, Jason didn’t claim Jake (Hudson West) as his and Lucky was raising him.
But, he didn’t miss this one and came by with a gift. Jake didn’t quite know what to do or say, but eventually wanted to open his gift and discussed school with Jason. After Spencer called, he said he felt bad that Spencer has no dad and Jake has three.
Franco’s Attempt At Healing
Meanwhile, Franco (Roger Howarth) met with another one of Jim Harvey’s victims, who told him he actually worked for the man as an adult after he took him in as a child–and molested him. He then told Franco to stop blaming himself for what happened.
Blackmail!
Ava (Maura West) was shocked when Griffin (Matt Cohen) decided to move out, and was further shocked when an angry Lucy (Lynn Herring) stopped by to show her the check she made out was literally blank.
Ava made out another one and then realized the pen she originally used had disappearing ink. She also figured out Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was behind it all and confronted her.

By then, Nelle had already put on the sweet girl act with Carly (Laura Wright) and Monica regarding her baby shower, with Carly promising to do all she could to make it a nice one.
Apparently, Nelle is determined to make it an eventful one because she blackmailed Ava into agreeing to come with Avery by using the photo she took of the photo Ava took of the DNA test Griffin ran on Peter (Wes Ramsey).
Amazingly, Henrik/Peter ends up in every story on this show even if he’s not even on screen or mentioned.
