The General Hospital recap (GH) for Monday, April 30 features Anna reeling after Robert presented his very sound theory.
Valentin’s Folly
Anna (Finola Hughes) wanted to trust Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), but realized via Robert (Tristan Rogers) he made happen exactly what she tried to avoid. He is the reason that her son ended up with Faison, essentially ruining his life.
Anna tried to reason everything away by pointing out that all parties were very young, Faison was not yet crazy, and Valentin didn’t have his own child yet and understand what it’s like to be a parent.
Robert didn’t like her excusing Valentin, while Valentin just knew Robert suspected something and told Peter. To that end, Peter (Wes Ramsey) was enraged that Curtis (Donnell Turner) was snooping around his office.
Strange Findings
Speaking of Curtis snooping, he brought his findings to Nina–a thick file with information on Nathan. Nina (Michelle Stafford) was convinced he’s using it to woo Maxie.
The End?
Drew (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) finally came to a decision about their marriage and company. Sam will be staying on at Aurora, but they decided to get a divorce.

Odd Partnership
Meanwhile, Jason (Steve Burton) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) talked Henrik and she’s still convinced she’s been in contact with Henrik although it’s all really a trick from Peter and Valentin.
Blackmail Agreement
Over at the PCPD, Ava (Maura West) continued her negotiations to get custody of Avery and finally agreed to help Mike (Max Gail) legally if Sonny (Maurice Benard) would sign a joint custody agreement.
Sonny was desperate to help his father, so he did it and Mike was devastated this all happened because of him.
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) decided to hang around the cop shop while this was going on and tried to be sympathetic to Carly (Laura Wright), even offering for her to be her baby’s guardian should anything happen to her or Michael (Chad Duell).
