The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, May 8, 2019, features Jason and Sam hitting a roadblock, Willow making a spectacle of herself, and some good old fashion father/daughter bonding.
Jason (Steve Burton) stormed the Dawn of Day house armed with his trusty side piece which he used to render Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) unconscious. He told Sam (Kelly Monaco) that Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) had returned home so they could leave.
Sam insisted that she stay and cover for him while he retrieved Kristina’s pledge. Shiloh was too weak to continue with the ceremony, but he told Sam they would be finishing what they started.
At Kelly’s, Valerie (Paulina Bugembe) tried her best to dissuade Brad (Parry Shen) from involving himself any further in DOD. When Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) overheard Brad praising Shiloh and DOD’s good works, she freaked out and vehemently ordered him not to bring Wiley anywhere near Shiloh as it would be akin to child abuse!
After her exhibition outside Kelly’s, Willow admitted to what Chase (Josh Swickward) had suspected all along – Wiley is the son she gave up for adoption.

Kim (Tamara Braun) brought Drew (Billy Miller) a box of Oscar’s belongings. She explained that she thought he might like some mementos of his son. Drew is drawn to a spyglass that Kim told him he once owned. Curtis arrived to check on Drew, who insisted that he be the one to pay for Jordan’s transplant costs.
Later, Kim placed a phone call to Shiloh. She wanted to make an appointment to talk about Oscar.
Josslyn (Eden McCoy) also wanted to discuss Oscar. She was elated to see her father, and they bonded over their mutual losses. Sonny (Maurice Benard) arrived, and he and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) shared a polite but chilly conversation. When Carly joined them, Jax revealed his plan to buy Connie’s house.
Valerie arrived at Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) home to check on Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth). Kristina not so stealthily questioned Valerie how to get her pledge back. Valerie warned that what Kristina was describing was blackmail and she needed to prepare herself for the truth to be revealed.
Jason revealed to Sonny that the contents of Kristina’s file had been replaced with blank paper. Now that Kristina’s safe, Sonny sees no reason Shiloh needs to remain a problem. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
