The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, January 9 features Cameron’s day in court.

The judge seemed harsh, but was willing to listen to Cameron (Will Lipton) read a statement of remorse, but also pointing out that he knows in a few years what he did would no longer be illegal.

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) decided to say more and point out that her son was buying the plant that many doctors in New York prescribe, to help with his friend’s cancer treatment.

Even Drew (Billy Miller) showed up to stick up for Cameron. In the end, the judge let Cameron off and also agreed to wipe his record clean if he behaves for a year. Elizabeth was relieved, but Cam didn’t like the idea of being watched for a year.

Meanwhile, the town waited for the election results as Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) told Ned she feared he’d become a victim of the serial killer if he were re-elected.

Carly (Laura Wright) sat with Laura (Genie Francis) at The Floating Rib and told her she didn’t trust Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) to look after the people at Ferncliff because she believes he lied about the patient named Wilson.

Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Briana Nicole Brown) stopped by to talk to Mac (John J. York) and told him that they think there’s a copycat killer out there. They looked for any info about Ryan Chamberlain they could find as Mac recalled what he put Felicia through.

Finally, Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) decided to tell Lulu (Emme Rylan) what she knew about the serial killer case. When Lulu did some Internet searching, she found everyone had one thing in common — Ryan Chamberlain.
