The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, November 5, 2019, features a discussion about divorce, a plot revealed, a heartbreaking goodbye, and a struggle with mental health.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Hoping to delay the inevitable punishment from her parents, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) went out on the Corinthos balcony only to run into Lucas (Ryan Carnes) who had spent the night upstairs. Uncle and niece had a deep conversation about divorce vs parents sticking together though Joss didn’t understand the reason for it.

Later, Brad (Parry Shen) arrived to talk with his husband but Lucas tried to turn him away. Instead, Brad told him that it was Julian (William deVry) who made it appear that he was having an affair. Lucas refused to entertain the accusation so Brad played a recording he secretly made while speaking with Julian on the topic. “Believe me now?”

Saying Goodbye To Franco

Dranco (Roger Howarth) visited Kim (Tamara Braun) at Oscar’s Meadow where she informed him that she was leaving Port Charles to seek help and she was going with or without him — it was his choice if he followed.

Wanting to honor Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) request that he say goodbye to the family he was abandoning, Dranco showed up at her door. Liz pulled him into a kiss and pleaded with the Franco trapped inside his mind to put up a fight but Dranco told her it was all for naught. “Your Franco is gone.”

Visiting Hours

Laura (Genie Francis) and Scotty (Kin Shriner) paid Ava (Maura West) a visit at Shadybrook where the institutionalized Jerome continued to insist that she really did see Nikolas (Marcus Coloma).

When Julian arrived to offer his support Ava asked him to check underneath her bed — she’s begun to have nightmarish fantasies that a vengeful Nik is using the space as a hiding spot.

While Julian assured his sister that there were no monsters, Laura made her way to Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) abode totally unaware that her firstborn was lurking inside. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
