The General Hospital recap for Thursday, September 20 features Ava apologizing to Kiki for how she’s treated her…until she spots Griffin in her apartment.
Angry Ava
Ava (Maura West) complained to Julian (William deVry), who stood up for Kiki (Hayley Erin) and reminded her how Kiki stood by her, even after Morgan. She took off to find Kiki, who hosted a sweaty Griffin (Matt Cohen) at her apartment.
Kiki and Griffin got to know each other better and she told him to stop apologizing so much. Ava interrupted to apologize but then saw Griffin and all hell broke loose between the three of them.
After Ava left, she went straight back to Julian and told her brother that Ava is no longer her daughter.
Repentant Julian
Earlier, Jason (Steve Burton) gave Julian a message from Sonny — and told him to be quiet about the explosion. Julian then told Jason if he loves Sam (Kelly Monaco), do not drag her back into the mob. Jason said it was up to Sam.
It’s All In The Genes
Michael (Chad Duell) helped Maxie (Kirsten Storms) with James. She was impressed by how good he was with him, but not surprised. She asked if being around James was hard on him and he said it’s the opposite. Maxie told him she understands how he feels.
Lucas (Ryan Carnes), Carly (Laura Wright), and Brad (Parry Shen) met with the specialist — Monica (Leslie Charleson). Carly supported Brad, who was freaking out.
When Monica shared the diagnosis, Carly asked if it was the same thing Michael had as a child. Monica said AJ had it too and she thinks it will go away eventually. Lucas wondered what else they weren’t told. Carly encouraged them to find the birth mother.
Mike’s Decision
Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) came over and told Sonny (Maurice Benard) that the ballistics came back. They traced back to a gun used in a shooting in Brooklyn, where Mike (Max Gail) was living. She warned him the walls are closing in on his father and then got a call that the body’s been identified.
Mike met with Stella (Vernee Watson) and told her he wants to move to keep his family safe. They discussed places for him to live and he appreciated her being his voice.
