The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, September 19 features a day about mothers and daughters that doesn’t end very well.
Slap Fest!
If you thought it was bad between Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Ava (Maura West) before, you ain’t seen nothing yet…well, until today.
Kiki was absolutely furious to learn Griffin (Matt Cohen) had lost his right to receive communion and go to confession and deduced Ava reported his indiscretions.
She deduced correctly as Ava sure didn’t deny it when confronted. In fact, she laughed about it. Things went so south that Kiki ended up smacking her mother and Ava had some choice words for her.
Nina (Michelle Stafford) witnessed the showdown in Charlie’s Pub and later told Ava about her own relationship with her own dead mother, warning her not to let that happen.
Sweat Fest
Meanwhile, Griffin also needed a new place to live, so Lucy (Lynn Herring) found him an apartment in Kiki’s building and they were both sweltering when the air conditioning wouldn’t work. So, they decided to be sweaty together at Kiki’s place…just when Ava decided to drop by.

Round And Round About Peter
Earlier, Nina and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) had lunch where they discussed Peter (Wes Ramsey) and all their emotions surrounding the last year. They also reached no conclusions.
At The Metro Court, Lulu (Emme Rylan) had a similar conversation with Peter and warned him to stay away from Maxie.
Missing Children
Through all of this, Nina had no idea Curtis and Valentin were working together to run a DNA test and find her child.
At the hospital, Michael and Carly conveniently ran into Lucas and Wiley and the mother and son watched the baby while Lucas did some work. When Lucas arrived to fetch Wiley, the pediatrician said some of his tests came back abnormal.
