The General Hospital recap for Thursday, March 14 features Ava coming face to face with the real Kevin Collins — and it didn’t go well.
Sure, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) feels violated as someone stole his life, but he didn’t lose his child — or even his actual life.
When Ava (Maura West) first saw him, she thought he was Ryan and physically attacked him. Scott (Kin Shriner) had to explain that this actually was Kevin, but he tried to stop Kevin from talking to Ava.
Ava let Kevin talk and even apologized to him for slapping him. When he suggested she might want to try therapy with anyone but him, Ava said that’s how she got herself into this mess to begin with.
Later, she saw a poster of Dr. Kevin Collins in the hospital halls, tore it down, and broke down in Scott’s arms.
Laura (Genie Francis) broke it to Lulu (Emme Rylan) that Kevin had been keeping Ryan in Ferncliff since last May. She was shattered that he didn’t tell her about it and wasn’t even sure her marriage could survive this.
When Kevin was discharged from the hospital, Laura told him she wasn’t quite sure he should come home just yet.

At Charlie’s Pub, Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) tried apologizing to Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), but Kristina wasn’t having it because Valerie couldn’t accept Dawn of Day.
When Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Sam (Kelly Monaco), and Molly (Haley Pullos) arrived, Kristina said she didn’t need people in her life who couldn’t see things her way. Molly then called her out and congratulated her for letting herself get indoctrinated into a cult.
Kim’s no dummy and when Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) arrived to offer help for Oscar (Garren Stitt), Kim (Tamara Braun) basically told him he can shove it. Drew (Billy Miller) also didn’t trust the guy but trusted Kim’s instincts.
Perhaps Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) didn’t have the best instincts at one time. She and Chase (Josh Swickard) got wet walking in the rain, so he put her dress in the dryer. When she went to change, we were treated to a view of her tattoo, the same tattoo Harmony and Daisy have.
