The General Hospital recap (GH) for Wednesday, August 8, features Peter walking free and his mother having quite a reunion.
Peter Is Off The Hook, But Not Free
Peter (Wes Ramsey) confessed to stealing the flash drive with Drew’s (Billy Miller) memories in a conversation with Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson)…a confession which Drew overheard.
He then stormed into Peter’s room, telling him he doesn’t believe the flash drive exists.
Although the DA is threatening to charge him for his role in stealing Drew’s identity, Peter ultimately walks free…but not before Robert reminded him that he’s still in debt to him, and all his assets have been seized.
Still, Peter told Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nina (Michelle Stafford) that Port Charles is the only place that ever felt like home, so he’s decided to stay.
Finn And Anna Reunite
Finn (Michael Easton) is nothing if not headstrong. When Dr. Klein (Gene Farber) provided the marching orders for the day, Finn responded by telling him that he’s not doing anything unless he has actual proof that Anna (Finola Hughes) is alive and well.
When a hastily-taken cell phone photo is not enough to convince Finn of Anna’s state, Klein dragged a limp Anna into the cell and informed Finn that if his patient dies, Anna dies as well.
When Klein left the room, Anna reassured Finn that she is, in fact, okay.
Kiki Prepares For The Trial
Kiki (Hayley Erin) prepared for her case against Bensch (James DePaiva), but things got a little awkward when she walked in on Ava (Maura West) – and Griffin (Matt Cohen) walking around shirtless.
Ava told Kiki that everyone is proud of her and supports her, but encouraged her to not dress conservatively because it will appear as though she’s surrendering.
At Kelly’s, Scotty told Franco about Kiki and Griffin’s little tryst. Franco then reminded Scotty that it’s essential to crush Bensch, but Scotty cautioned that things will get ugly in the courtroom thanks to this unfortunate transgression.
