The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, February 3, 2021, features Alexis taking tentative steps towards self-improvement, Cyrus making waves, and Maxie taking on yet another naysayer.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) plucked up the courage to attend an AA meeting, and though she initially blended into the background, she did agree to share her story. After admitting to falling off the wagon, she tearfully confessed that she wasn’t sure she had any reason to climb back on. She’s alienated friends and family and committed far worse crimes. What’s the point exactly?

After the group’s dispersal, Alexis accepted her one-day sober chip from Monica (Leslie Charleson) and agreed with the recommendation that she take things one hour at a time rather than focus on the days as a whole.

Carrot Dangled

Jordan (temporary recast Tiffany Daniels) may have been intrigued by Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) promise to not cooperate with the DOJ – which would surely stymie their case against Taggert – but that didn’t change the facts. She has no idea where Cyrus’s mother is. And she’s not even positive that Jason (Steve Burton) even took her. And as the crime took place in Vermont she has absolutely no jurisdiction.

Cyrus, undeterred and sick of hearing excuses, warned Jordan that if anything untoward happened to his mother, then he would ensure that none of her loved ones remained among the living.

Off that chilling threat, Jordan met with Laura (Genie Francis) and the two discussed ways in which they could strike back at Cyrus. After deducing that the villain was using his position at GH to strengthen his hold on the town, they decided to try and bring Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to their side. Then they decided it wouldn’t hurt to try and flip Brando (Johnny Wactor) as well.

Her Against The World

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) paid Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) a visit and begged him to forgive Peter (Wes Ramsey) for the role he played in Dante’s attack. Dante rightfully pointed out that all most every conversation they have ends with her trying to defend her fiancée. Doesn’t that raise any sorta red flag?

Then Dante wondered if Maxie was clinging on to Peter because he offered her a reminder of Nathan. Maxie denied the charge… then headed off to Nathan’s grave to ponder her friend’s query.

Meanwhile, Peter, having eavesdropped on Maxie and Dante’s conversation, slinked into Dante’s hospital room and fired him as his chief of security. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
