The General Hospital recap for Thursday, May 27, 2021, features Maxie welcoming baby number three under less than ideal circumstances, and Nikolas’s actions may cost Carly her secret weapon.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
A desperate Maxie (Kirsten Storms) sought refuge in the forest surrounding her would-be prison and realized, much to her consternation, that she was indeed in labor. What is with her kids and trees?
As luck would have it, Maxie was chanced upon by not a crazy mountain man nutjob, but by a seemingly scatterbrained, though very competent, doctor named Austin (Roger Howarth).
He coached Maxie through her third delivery – one would think she’d be an old pro by now and could go through the motions on her lonesome…like a boss! – but much to the duo’s distress, baby Louise wasn’t crying.
Cyrus (Jeff Kober) wants Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs), but he’s got Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Carly (Laura Wright) is in a position to snatch Gladys, and she wants Spinelli – perhaps a trade is in order.
The one SNAFU is that Gladys is in surgery for the bullet wound she sustained; what to do, what to do? Ava (Maura West) volunteered to play decoy, which angered Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and pleased Carly to no end.
The waring factions converged at the docks, and Carly’s ingenious plan was this close to coming together…and then Nikolas went and spoiled the whole thing. Guns were drawn, threats of dismemberment were issued, and the entire situation appears hopeless.
Love ‘Em and Leave ‘Em
If it were up to Jason (Steve Burton), he’d be staying put in Canada with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). But Carly needs him. And his hitman skills are getting pretty rusty. It’s been like two weeks since he’s fired a gun. Will Britt wait for him? Course she will!
Take Me Out To The (Soft)Ball Game
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) hate flirted at the annual PCPD vs. Aurora Media Softball Tournament – yeah, we forgot that Sam had a stake in the company too – and he helped her perfect her batting stance.
It was hot…ish. Mama Falconeri certainly wouldn’t approve. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
