The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, February 14 didn’t feature a happy Valentine’s Day in Port Charles for all.
Jealous Drew
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Drew (Billy Miller) had a night out without kids (which is nothing new for them). Scout was with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Danny was with Jason, but then Danny ended up feeling sick from eating too much chocolate at school.
Jason (Steve Burton) tried to make him feel better with club soda, but when Jason went to get the club soda, he called Sam to bring him ginger ale. By the time Sam got there, the club soda worked and Danny (TK Weaver) asked both of his parents to read him a bedtime story, so they did.
But, who knew Drew was waiting in the car all that time. Drew finally arrived at the door and laid into Jason, claiming he did this on purpose and he always tries to insinuate himself in Sam’s life. Sam was with Danny and missed her husband’s pity party tantrum.
Drunk Kiki
Another person having a pity party was Kiki (Hayley Erin). She got drunk and called Dillon only to hear his girlfriend in the background. Then, she came onto Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), which was kind of strange.

Sad Ava
Ava (Maura West) was also sad because Griffin (Matt Cohen) was called away to work, delaying their Valentine’s plans. So, she got to learn all about Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) bad mood and how she planned to get Michael (Chad Duell) back no matter what–even if that includes driving Carly crazy with mysterious phone calls.
Poor Mike
Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) tried to have a happy Valentine’s Day, but they were too worried about Mike (Max Gail) and his insistence on taking a walk in the cold to order Rita flowers.
Happiness?
At least Curtis (Donnell Turner) managed to surprise Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and cheer her up with romance. So, Port Charles had at least a little happiness.
