The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, November 22 features a Thanksgiving like no other in Port Charles… but also wildly familiar.
Things seemed different from the start as there were no Qs in Monica’s house to make Thanksgiving what it had always been. Cold weather stopped Monica (Leslie Charleson) from going to New Mexico, but a tender talk with Chatty Jason (Billy Miller) warmed her heart. Why, he seemed just like the son she lost so many years ago…
Back at the penthouse, Sam (Kelly Monaco) let Original Jason (Steve Burton) in and told him to prove his identity for himself, not for her or anyone else. She then told him not to leave town cause Sonny and Carly have missed him and wanted him back for five long years. Sure, Sam–Sonny and Carly.
Yep, He’s A Mobster
At Casa Corinthos, Oscar’s mom, Kim (Tamara Braun), made it clear she knows exactly what Sonny does for a living and she was willing to let it ride because she can’t see two 14-year-olds together for too long.
She had a point, but this upset Carly (Laura Wright) anyway. Then, Michael (Chad Duell) got called away when Ned (Wally Kurth) learned Monica was all alone.
Ned was at Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) where a feast was served as a buffet, but nobody ate anything because Maxie (Kirsten Storms) promptly threw up and knocked over the table. She then told Nathan (Ryan Paevey) she’s pregnant.
But, back to Casa Corinthos. Original Jason walked in and a stunned Kim stood up and called him “Drew.” Well, whoever Drew is, he sure did look like Original Jason once upon a time.
More Turkey Mishaps!
At Alexis’s house, things didn’t go well when Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) dropped the turkey. Once it was all cleaned up, everyone left and Alexis kissed Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva). Yay?
Turkey Burgers? Please!
And where did everyone go? Monica’s house, of course. Just as she was sitting down to a turkey burger, everyone walked in with boxes of pizza, and it was a Quartermaine Thanksgiving after all. The end.
