The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, December 27 features a day of quick-moving surprises throughout Port Charles.
A Caper!
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) cornered Amy (Risa Dorken) at the hospital and explained just how important doing a DNA test for Nathan would be. Amy was reluctant at first, but Maxie was pretty darn persistent, as Maxie can be.
New Life For Lulu, Laura, And Port Charles
Over at the PCPD, her equally persistent best friend got quite a story when Mayor Lomax was indicted and resigned all in one day. She’s a politician who knows she was caught and decided not to fight it, so we’ll give her that.
This seemed to turn on Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) because Lulu (Emme Rylan) has this reporting superpower now and he looked like he wanted to do the deed right in the interrogation room. Go, Dante. Lulu thought her luck was getting even better when Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) suggested Laura (Genie Francis) run for mayor now.
She Lies A Lot
But, back to Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) paternity. He questioned Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) about it once again, but all she did was express her regrets for not raising him and that is why she wants a grandson–to have a little boy to dote on.

Griffin, It’s A Guess Watch, Chill!
Ava (Maura West) gave Griffin (Matt Cohen) a Guess watch she could have bought at Macy’s and Griffin acted like it was a Rolex and was hesitant to accept some extravagance from her. She finally convinced him to wear it and he must have felt like a million bucks.
A Little Misunderstanding?
Ava then overheard Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Griffin having a cryptic conversation and assumed they must be having an affair, but it was more than likely about Kiki’s medical school adventure.
