The General Hospital (GH) recap for March 23 has Sam breaking Drew’s heart when she finally tells him the truth about her feelings.
Sam’s Confession
Sam (Kelly Monaco) finally told Drew (Billy Miller) that she still has feelings for Jason (Steve Burton) and in fact, loves them both.
She admitted she couldn’t get either of them out of her heart. She told him she needed to learn to trust herself again. He got her to admit to him they kissed on New Year’s.
Drew told Sam he couldn’t stay, not with Jason between them. He gave her his all, and while he wished it was enough, being around her while she tries to figure it out would be too much for him. She cried, upset that he could leave. He felt that they’re not real, like everything else about him. She pointed to their daughter, but he took off anyway.
Is Jason Ready To Fight?
Meanwhile, Jason kept busy by going after Heinrik with Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who decided to impersonate him to get the information they wanted. Spinelli offered to handle it all himself so Jason could remain behind to comfort Sam, should she need it.
Carly (Laura Wright) found the bloody scarf Nelle (Chloe Lanier) left for her on her desk and was confused. Nelle then set off the fire alarm and Carly ran into Spinelli and Jason and she told them about the scarf. When she went to show them, it was gone. She figured out that someone is trying to freak her out.
Jealousy…
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) used Finn to get Julian (William deVry) off her back. So Kim (Tamara Braun) was there to pick up the pieces as she tried to cheer him up. This led to them sharing a steamy kiss.

Hope For Finn?
Anna (Finola Hughes) talked with Finn (Michael Easton) finally about her feelings and how she wanted to protect him. She admitted something was holding her back. When he wanted to tell her about the real deal with Alexis, the woman herself arrived and said she had to speak to him. Anna took off, and Alexis felt horrible.
Alexis admitted that she lied to Julian that they’re a couple. While at first reeling from it, he told her if it helps her keep away from Julian, that’s fine. At the hospital, Anna ran into Andre and updated him on her blunder with Finn and Alexis.
Sweet Memories
Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Mike (Max Gail) continued to argue as they both struggled with his condition. When Andre (Anthony Montgomery) happened by, Sonny wondered what he was doing walking around free, but Andre said “free” isn’t necessarily what he thinks.
Michael (Chad Duell) took Mike to lunch, leaving Sonny on his own at the hospital. He sought out Andre and said he had an idea about how he could make amends.
