Simple Explanation
After Carly’s (Laura Wright) mic-drop moment telling Michael (Chad Duell) that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was suspected of killing her never-before-heard-of fiancé, Michael confronted her.
(Ja)Nelle had a perfectly good explanation for everything and later told Michael she loved him. And he was happy. And all was good. Because Michael just wants love.
Firefly Summer
Apparently, that’s all Josslyn (Eden McCoy) wants too. Milo caught Oscar trying to sneak into Carly’s house and made a massive deal of it all. Oscar and Josslyn explained themselves, and Carly seemed satisfied. They made their way over to the same bridge Carly and Nelle were on. They let a firefly free and all was good.

Old Friends
All was not good for Monica (Leslie Charleson) and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman), who bonded over past mistakes and worry for their children–and mutual grandchild. They know Michael can be a pushover and wondered what else Nelle might be pushing over.
Bobbie was also there to comfort Monica about Jason (Billy Miller), whose coma status remains indefinite. Will he finally end up in a new facility for an extended period of time? (Oh, you know he will.)
Odd Friends
All was also not good for Finn (Michael Easton), who had to resist falling back into his drug habit. But Anna (Finola Hughes) stopped by with a request and distraction. She wants Finn to use his doctor status to find the mysterious Cassandra, who coincidentally happens to be a hypochondriac who would welcome a physician like Finn.
