The General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, January 5 features a shocking truth Maxie certainly never wanted to hear.
Father Figure
After Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) let on that Victor Cassadine was not Nathan’s father and the DNA test pretty much proved it, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) deduced the only other explanation is that Faison was his father. He didn’t seem too surprised or upset by this, but Maxie (Kirsten Storms) was a whole other situation.
She could barely believe she is carrying Faison’s grandchild and told Jason (Steve Burton), Sonny (Maurice Benard), and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) where they could go after they deduced Faison had a son and then learning that son is Nathan when they walked in on the reveal.
Sonny didn’t believe Nathan could be the traitor, so he decided Faison must have another son somewhere and they need to find him.
Master Meddler
Carly (Laura Wright) had quite a day when she tried to once again convince Sam (Kelly Monaco) she should be with Jason and Drew (Billy Miller) walked in. He told Carly off, then Sam had to reassure him she loves him (again), and they decided to get married that day. Let’s see how that one works out.

But, the day wasn’t over for Carly. After Nelle (Chloe Lanier) almost quit on Ava (Maura West) her first day at work after being overwhelmed, Carly found her there and Nelle decided to taunt her with the fact that she has a job with Ava.
It’s All About Her Face
Ava then ended up at the hospital and overheard Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Griffin (Matt Cohen) discussing Morgan as Griffin defended Ava and Kiki tried to warn him that her mother is not really a very good person. Meanwhile, Ava just wanted her scars gone cause that’s really all that counts with her.
