General Hospital (GH) Recap: Maxie’s Epic Freakout

General Hospital RecapGeneral Hospital Recap

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, January 8 features a panicked Maxie doing everything she can to keep calm knowing she is carrying Faison’s grandchild.

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) first had a long talk with Lulu (Emme Rylan), who was shocked to hear the news but tried to talk her down from the ledge. Then, Sonny (Maurice Benard) had to try to do the same thing when she begged him not to tell anyone.

Well, he already told Anna (Finola Hughes), which didn’t bode well with Maxie, so she freaked out some more. Sonny had to assure her that Jason will keep his mouth shut and not tell anyone.

Speaking of Anna, she had to deal with a guilty Finn (Michael Easton) who wanted to tell all to Jordan (Vinessa Antoine). Anna told him to take a nap and it seemed Cassandra’s henchmen confessed to trying to kill her, but Anna didn’t think his explanation made sense.

The Best Laid Plans…
Drew (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) tried to get married right away but first realized they had to wait 24 hours for a marriage license and then learned she’s still married to Jason (Steve Burton). Sam said she would take care of that obstacle.

Meddling Mother
Carly (Laura Wright) had a busy day, both with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and then with Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Carly decided to scare Nelle out of working for Ava (Maura West) by telling her horror stories, and then suggested she would talk with Michael (Chad Duell) about giving her a stipend so she’d stay away from Ava.

She also became the mom of a teenage dating girl when she watched Oscar (Garren Stitt) ask Josslyn out in a sweet and romantic way after the pair first had an argument.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
