The General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, January 19 features a day of hope, happiness, and of course, danger in Port Charles.

Can’t Wait For The Honeymoon
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Drew (Billy Miller) prepared to marry in the penthouse but did not plan a honeymoon. All that changed when Jason (Steve Burton) stopped by to tell them Faison could be nearby. Drew made sure to let his brother know he and Sam planned to wed in a few hours and didn’t need to hear about Faison.

However, that did not stop Drew from then making plans for a honeymoon with kids once a dejected Jason left to play pool, ran into Kim (Tamara Braun), and made a brand-new friend.

Drunken Confessions
Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) showed up at Anna’s (Finola Hughes) house drunk and telling all about Faison and his other son.

She said his name was Heinrich, Faison sent him away to school and never really cared for him, and she was afraid he’d treat Nathan (Ryan Paevey) as badly. When Obrecht left, a man with long hair and cigarillos knocked her out and dragged her away.

Anna Vs. Sonny
Anna went straight to Sonny (Maurice Benard) with this information, and he wanted to find Faison and this son immediately. Anna was adamant that couldn’t happen and seemed to fear for her life. But, with Faison involved, that seems par for the course.

Mayoral Hopes–Dashed!
Laura (Genie Francis) abruptly ended her mayoral campaign when she learned Spencer had two broken legs and she’d need to leave for Europe to take care of him. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) tried to find another way around that, but Laura insisted on going. She also suggested that Kevin run for mayor, but he balked at the idea.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
