No one checks out of General Hospital for good.

It doesn’t matter if they’re heartbroken… or presumed dead, fans know that where there’s a will (and maybe a write-in campaign), there’s a way to make sure your favorites pop back up on screen –sooner rather than later. So who are you dying to see come home to Port Charles in 2017?

Scorpio Rising
And he’s not even dead this time! Over 5,000 fans chimed in and 85% of you are eager for super-spy (and less than stellar dad, but he claims he tries) Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to return to the town he’s called home on and off since the early 1980s.

Sure, this time there’s no Ice Princess to track down, or monkey virus to stop (and even his daughter and granddaughter have moved away), but there’s still brother Mac (John J. York) and Anna (Finola Hughes). Those two exes never get tired of snarking at each other, and fans deserve to listen in. What fun is it imagining it happening off-screen?

You Can’t Keep a Bad Girl Down
Raise your hand if you believe Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is really dead this time. Yeah, 11% of fans just ain’t buying it. They know Helena had a plan. Helena always has a plan. And it usually involves not dying. She has got to be in this Charlotte mess — up to her evil eyeballs. If anyone can manipulate time to make it so that Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) missing embryo was conceived before she ever thought of having it created, it’s Helena. And you demand she return to Port Charles to explain herself!

Obsession Redux
Faison (Anders Hove) is obsessed with Anna (sure, he claimed he was over it, but when, exactly, was Faison celebrated as a truth teller?). Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is obsessed with his obsession (sure, Faison claimed he’s all about playing family with her and Britt now, but: see above). Once Anna returns to Port Charles, 4% of viewers believe that Faison should, too. Obrecht can force him to live up to his promises, and Faison can try and squirm his way out of them, as he finds more people to impersonate via his incredibly life-like face-masks. Here’s to 2017!
