Viewers thought they already knew everything they needed to about General Hospital’s Anna.
When she first arrived in Port Charles, we saw flashbacks of her romance with Robert (Tristan Rogers) and her double-crossing the WSB. Later, more background came out about her and Faison (Anders Hove).
There. Now we know everything. (And we’re not even counting the missing/presumed dead years in Pine Valley with Dimitri, Edmund, and David.)
But, wait, there’s more! Anna also has a past with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). He loved her, she turned him down, he went off-the-charts evil. So that’s enough about the past. What do viewers want for Anna and Valentin’s future? Over 5,000 voted!
Friends In High Places
They were friends back at spy training school, they can be friends again, urge 42% of the audience. Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin should work together, drawing on their common training, and renew their previous warm relationship. Anna can use all the friends she can get, and a Cassadine feared by other Cassadines makes a powerful ally!

Enemy Lines
No alliance with a Cassadine ever ends well, warn a contrary 33% of you. They can’t be trusted, because they can’t help betraying even those they love. It’s in their blood. Anna will be safer remaining Valentin’s mortal enemy. At least that way, she’ll know where she stands and she won’t let her guard down. Plus, he deserves it, too.
Take Two
Valentin was in love with Anna. She’s the one who wasn’t interested. But what if she made a mistake, wonder 25% of the audience. How can Anna know what she’s missing until she gives it a try?
She should consider rekindling their relationship and seeing where it goes. Look at Duke (Ian Buchanan). Look at David. Anna always had a thing for the bad boy. And Valentin is about as bad as it gets.
