A year ago (we mean it, like last year’s Thanksgiving episode), Kim was introduced to the General Hospital canvas as Oscar’s strong, feisty, and worried mom.
She worried so much she gave Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) the third degree over their family’s line of work, saying she researched them to keep her son safe.
Heck, she even had a tracker on Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) phone and was able to locate him and Joss (Eden McCoy) over at Drew (Billy Miller) and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) place.
But one thing Kim (Tamara Braun) didn’t seem to overly concerned about was Oscar’s tumor, which she apparently knew he had for at least a year by then.
She also wasn’t very worried about his tumor when he suffered from hypothermia after getting locked in The Floating Rib freezer during the Upstate New York Fracking Earthquake.

But, back to that Corinthos line of work that she was so concerned about. Honestly, who could blame her for being concerned? But, that’s why her little planned caper with ‘Charlie’ going awry cause Charlie wasn’t into it made so little sense.
From the start, Julian (William deVry) has been nothing but honest with her, even letting her call him Charlie as he put his organized crime ties behind him. Heck, Julian Jerome even went camping in a tent in the woods.
Okay, okay, he hasn’t told her that Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas’s (Ryan Carnes) original Wiley died and Brad got a replacement baby on the side of the road. (He doesn’t know from whom.) And, yeah, he did replace that baby blanket for Ava, but that’s neither here nor there.
