It looks like Franco and Elizabeth are going to finally tie the knot this week on General Hospital and their legion of fans is absolutely thrilled. Sure, it may not be the church wedding with all the trimmings that pesky earthquake destroyed last year, but it should be fabulously “Friz” right?
After all, there has been nothing traditional about this couple that came together at just the right time. The character of Elizabeth had nearly been ruined and turned into a shrew when she kept ‘Jason’s’ identity from him for seven months. (And, it turned out he wasn’t Jason after all, but Drew.)
Franco had recently found his sanity and an actual job while ending a romance that was never meant to be with Nina. Who ever thought Franco and Elizabeth would be the pair to watch? And, one that would become so endearing to so many of us.

For some, it was hard to forget what Franco had done to Sam and so many others, but if you just shut James Franco out of your minds and watched what Roger Howarth was bringing to the character, it was easy to fall in love with Friz.
