The news that General Hospital (GH) fans have been waiting months for is finally here. Kirsten Storms took to Instagram to tease fans about her return, posting a picture of her dressing room while GH’s official site tweeted a behind-the-scenes photo.
She dropped hint over a week ago that this could be happening soon when the actress tweeted about shopping for new clothes for Maxie.
Her hiatus began in March and was Storms’ second leave of absence in a year. Her first was due to nerves from her divorce from Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny) that caused some skin issues.

The actress recently admitted that she suffers from severe depression, which caused this latest temporary exit from the soap.
Her character, Maxie, better come back quickly because brand-new husband Nathan (Ryan Paevey) is spending an awful lot of time with Nurse Amy (Risa Dorken).
