The New Version Of Curtis
Curtis (Donnell Turner) has changed over the last few years. It may have happened when he left Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and married Portia (Brook Kerr), or when he discovered Trina (Tabyana Ali) was his daughter.
Whatever the reason, he has become this person who thinks he is always right. And it’s happening again as Curtis deals with the car accident involving him and Jordan.
Clearly, the crash was not only Jordan’s fault, but it was also his. If he weren’t kissing his girlfriend while she was driving, she wouldn’t have swerved into the wrong lane. They were the cause, not the other driver. Unfortunately, they crashed so badly that Jordan was severely injured and trapped in the car. Curtis got her out just in time, with a little help from Valentin (James Patrick Stuart).
Jordan is understandably upset about her facial injuries, but it was not anyone else’s doing. Curtis is trying to place blame on the other driver for not stopping, but he has no idea if that person even knew they had crashed.
It may have been Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), or someone else entirely, but Curtis is determined to place the blame on Portia’s new boyfriend.
Enough Is Enough
Curtis seems out of control regarding this situation. Laura (Genie Francis) tried to make him see that this felt more like a personal vendetta than justice. He doesn’t like Isaiah because of his relationship with Portia. He would be happy if the doctor were not involved with raising his child. Laura advised him to let this go, but Curtis is stubborn.
Even Jordan pointed out that he is grasping at straws concerning Isaiah. Everyone can see it but Curtis himself.
Fans are becoming frustrated with this behavior. “Curtis wants someone to blame. Isaiah to be precise. Either way this is the dullest storyline in some time,” exclaimed one Facebook user.
“Curtis is such a whiner now. Always blaming others,” said another. One more said, “I like Curtis but he’s working a nerve.”
