Jason has checked into General Hospital (GH). And it doesn’t look like he’ll be checking out soon. It doesn’t look like he’ll be doing much of anything soon.
Carly is convinced her best friend wouldn’t want to live his life trapped in a coma. Sam is convinced that treatment for her husband should be up to her, not some chick he hooked up with 20 years ago.
But what do the fans think? Over 2,000 took a side in the battle between Carly and Sam. Here’s what they had to say:
First, Do No Harm
Carly (Laura Wright) is a pushy busybody with no moral compass or ability to think about anyone’s needs beyond her own. But she means well. At least, that’s what 62% of you believe.
She does love Jason (Billy Miller) – in her own self-centered way. Sam should have taken that into consideration before she let Carly have it. She doesn’t have to listen to what Carly says, but she should accept that it’s coming from a good place.

Step Away From the Hit-Man
Sam (Kelly Monaco) doesn’t owe Carly a darn thing, counter 37%. Carly has always been way too possessive of Jason. She meddled in his life with Robin (Kimberly McCullough), she meddled in his life with Liz (Rebecca Herbst), she does not have any right to meddle in his life – or death – now.
Any decision about how Jason should be treated is up to Sam. No, not even Sonny (Maurice Benard) gets a vote here, though his promise to do the right thing for his friend – no matter what anybody else thinks – was adequately ominous.
Honestly, the best thing that could happen to Jason now is for him to be unmasked as an impostor. Carly and Sonny would drop him like a hot potato, and Sam could deal with her husband on her own.
