There was something awfully familiar about Lexi Ainsworth’s gorgeous gown when she took home the gold for Outstanding Younger Leading Actress at the Daytime Emmys in May.
In fact, when Soap Hub reporters spotted her on the red carpet, the dress immediately caught our eyes and by the time she made it to the press room, we figured out why.
The pink and white creation is clearly the same dress Vanessa Marcil wore on GH when Brenda finally walked down the aisle to marry Sonny–and he DIDN’T leave her standing at the alter this time.

In fact, Ainsworth’s Kristina was in that wedding as one of Brenda’s bridesmaids, as she was marrying Krissy’s dad.
Ainsworth did tell Soap Hub she thought we might recognize the dress–and we sure did.
