General Hospital brought back one of the soap’s most notorious villains with the return of Heather Webber. The character rented out the Cat’s Eye Lounge for Trina and Gio’s performance to make her grand return to Port Charles. Heather Went After Trina for Esme
Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was the reason Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) never got along. In fact, Esme blamed Trina when Spencer dumped her over her horrible behavior.
After Heather (Alley Mills) learned that Esme was her biological daughter, she snapped and went into crazy mama bear mode. Heather literally went on a killing spree as the “Hook Killer,” murdering people that meant something to Trina, including her then-boyfriend Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse).
Even though Heather never tried to kill Trina, she attacked Ava (Maura West), who was seriously injured, and Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Brando (Johnny Wactor) was killed in an attack meant for Josslyn, and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) was “killed,” saving Josslyn from the “Hook Killer.” Britt turned up alive a couple of years later.
Playing the Victim
Once Heather was proven to be the serial killer, she went to prison. During that time, Laura (Genie Francis) and doctors revealed Heather had cobalt poisoning from a faulty artificial hip replacement. Ric (Rick Hearst) took on Heather’s case, which was tampered with by Portia (Brook Kerr) out of fear for Trina.
When it was finally confirmed that Heather did have cobalt poisoning, Ric got her released from prison. Curtis (Donnell Turner) enticed Heather to move to Arizona with her son, Steve (Scott Reeves), and she did so for two years. During that time, Trina lost Spencer and rebuilt her life, while Drew (Cameron Mathison) discovered what Portia had done and blackmailed her into helping him.
Now Heather has resurfaced, and so has her history with Trina. Heather insists she has no beef with Trina anymore, but it’s Heather, and nothing she says can be taken at face value.
