The former congressman is a wild card and has a temper. He may have gotten angry and hurt, or even killed her.
Lulu spoke calmly and rationally to Charlotte. She laid out all the worst-case scenarios until her daughter clearly understood what kind of danger she put herself in. Charlotte finally got it.
